Controller/Provider: Silent Cipher LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This umbrella privacy policy covers the Chiseled app and any current or future apps, sites, or services we operate (the “Services”). We do not sell your personal data.

1) Data We Process
We process account data (name, email), profile and biometric-related inputs (body scan images you upload, derived body composition estimates, height/weight), activity logs (workouts, meals, calories), subscription and transactional records, and technical data (device, app version, diagnostics, usage). Body scan images and personal data may be analyzed by AI to generate guidance. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and users 13–17 may not use the service; the Services are for adults 18+ only.
2) Purposes & Legal Bases
We use data to provide and personalize features, generate insights, support customers, secure the service, prevent fraud/abuse, meet legal obligations, and improve quality. Legal bases include consent (e.g., biometric processing, certain marketing), performance of a contract (providing the app), legitimate interests (security, improvement), and compliance with law.
3) Biometric & Sensitive Data Consent
We only process biometric/sensitive data with your explicit consent. By affirming the separate Biometric Consent control, you authorize analysis of your body images to estimate metrics. You can withdraw consent any time in Settings; some features may be limited. We do not use biometric data for identity verification or law-enforcement purposes.

Retention Statement: raw body scan images are automatically deleted within 30 days after processing unless you opt to retain a scan history; derived metrics are retained until you delete your account or request earlier deletion, then deleted or irreversibly de-identified within a reasonable period, subject to legal holds.

4) Your Rights (Global)
You may request access, correction, portability/export, restriction/objection (where applicable), or deletion of your personal data (including scans, metrics, and logs). You may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing. Use in-app tools or email contact@silentcipher.net; we verify identity and respond within legal timelines.
5) We Never Sell Your Data — Guaranteed
YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS NOT FOR SALE. We will never sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information, health data, biometric data, workout history, body composition metrics, progress photos, or any other personal data to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not share with data brokers or targeted-advertising networks.
6) Security & Retention Limits
Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3+) and at rest, least-privilege access, and audits. Personal data is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law. Raw biometric images: 30-day auto-deletion unless you opt to keep them; derived metrics retained until you delete or request earlier deletion.

AI Transparency

Features may use machine learning to analyze inputs (e.g., scans, logs) and generate guidance. Outputs can be inaccurate; review before use. We log operational metrics and de-identified data to improve quality as described in this Center. We do not use your biometric data for identity verification or law enforcement. You may withdraw consent to biometric processing in Settings at any time (features may be limited).

  • Subscriptions/Trials/Billing: Recurring plans (via app stores or our site). Trials convert unless canceled before renewal. Prices may change for future periods with notice. Taxes may apply.
  • User Content & License: You own your content. You grant us a limited worldwide license to host/process/display your content solely to operate and improve the Services, consistent with this Center.
  • Acceptable Use: No unlawful/harmful/infringing content; no scraping or reverse engineering; no security interference; no unauthorized resale.
  • Termination: You may stop at any time. We may suspend/terminate for violations or to protect users/service integrity.
  • Disclaimers: Services are provided “AS IS/AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of merchantability, fitness, or non-infringement to the extent permitted by law.
  • Governing Law: South Carolina law (unless consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise).
